Burkard Polster is a maths lecturer, and Monash University’s resident Mathemagician, mathematical juggler, origami expert, bubble-master, shoelace charmer, and Count von Count impersonator.

Together with Marty Ross he is writing the Maths Masters column in The Education Age and has been giving the MAV public lectures at the Melbourne Museum for the past seven years.

When Burkard is not doing fun mathematics he has fun investigating perfect mathematical universes.
